The backlash to Indiana’s Religious Freedom Restoration Act that would have allowed businesses to discriminate against anyone on religious grounds has been sever from a business stand point with groups and companies pulling out of Indiana including Arkansas based Wal-Mart. This more than anything else is what is pushing Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson to demand changes to the state’s version of the Religious Freedom bill.
Wal-Mart commended Hutchinson on social media, saying in a tweet they hoped overs would follow Hutchinson’s example.”
