War Crimes By U.S. Trained Iraqi Dirty Brigades Under Investigation

“Cenk Uygur, John Iadaola, Jimmy Dore, and Ben Mankiewicz of The Young Turks discuss the Dirty Brigades, the nick name for a group of U.S. Trained Iraqi Forces that are accused of war crimes.

Training Iraqi forces has been the main strategy of the United States, not just as they pull out of the region but as their main weapon against ISIS. As ISIS and Iraqi forces clash over key positions in Iraq a handful of members of the Iraqi Security Forces, called the ‘Dirty Brigade’ in Iraqi and U.S. Military communications, are coming under investigation for alleged war crimes by the infant Iraqi Government. Photos and video footage has surfaced of men in ISF uniforms torturing and killing prisoners, decimating civilians and being pretty creative with the use of freshly severed heads.

The Iraqi government and humans rights groups are calling for the prosecution of those responsible.”

Has the dirt brigade gone too far in fighting ISIS and its supporters? Let us know what you think in the comments section below.
