The NAACP was targeted in a bombing at their Colorado Springs chapter. The improvised explosive device went off outside of the office while a gasoline can placed next to the device failed to detonate. No injuries were reported following the attack. Was this a hate crime against the country’s oldest civil rights organization, or was the attack targeted at something else?
