Cenk hosts TYT. Chris Christie was in Cowboys owner Jerry Jones’ box at the playoff game on Sunday. Video of Jones rejecting Christie’s high five attempt after the Cowboys won. Cenk dives into the potential political ramifications of Christie’s move to cozy up with Jones. In the past, he shut down state officials from gaining access to sky boxes and hobnobbing with rich people, with one exception, himself. David Siegel, the billionaire that told his employees in 2012 that if Obama is reelected, it would threaten their jobs and benefits has reported that things have never been better with business. In response, he’s raising the wages of his employees that were making minimum wage, but won’t admit that his prediction of Obama causing the business to go bankrupt was wrong. Video of the reality show that showed Siegel’s extreme lifestyle while building the largest house in America. Gallup poll showed that American people’s #1 concern is politicians over the previous #1, the economy. Amazing Fact of the Day. Of the 46 Dems in the Senate, over 60 million people voted for them, but of the 54 GOPers, only 40 million voted for them. Despite 20 million more people supporting Democrats in office, Republicans control both the House and Senate, due to gerrymandering and giving small states the same amount of Senatorial power as large ones. The Wall Street Journal published an article that explains the issue of Net Neutrality through the position of Republicans, claiming that it stifles innovation and causes new regulations to be put in place. Despite all of the rouge moves GOP is planning to make, they can all be void if Obama doesn’t sign them. Mia Love, the newly elected Black Republican woman, has given Steve Scalise a pass for speaking to a White Supremacy group in 2002. Videos of her pardoning him and asking for us to move on and do the business of the American people. Videos of Newt Gingrich defending Scalise by comparing it to Jeremiah Wright and referencing Mia Love’s pardon, using their only Black people to excuse his actions. St. Louis prosecutor Bob McCullough is being sued by a member of the grand jury for not being able to speak out about their stance on the case after McCullough went on a media tour characterizing the jury’s perspective. The juror also points out that the manner in which McCullough approached the WIlson case focused on the victim instead of the accused. Mike Huckabee is leaving Fox News, indicating that he will be running for President again. Rand Paul staff members are buying up Google ad space on Huckabee announcement and Huckabee Common Core, preparing to rip him to shreds over issues they can nail him on. Cenk reads through the absolutely insane things Huckabee has said about the biggest political issues, including his Birtherism.

  1. Americans worry about politicians unfortunately does not mean they worry about money in politics or who represents who, it could also mean they worry about wars or Obama or upcoming elections.

  2. On regards to the Siegel story, I always remember that story you guys did that was super fascinating, about how Obama was doing less regulation than Bush, but polled, almost all businesses thought government regulation has never been more intrusive. They don’t operate on logic, just feelings and propaganda.
