A new study has shown that since we’ve launched the War on Terror, the number of deaths caused by terrorism has gone up 60% last year. Cenk explains how and why this happens. Now that the Democrats got their asses handed to them in the midterms and Obama delayed immigration reform to avoid that, Senate Democrats are imploring Obama to wait again to do anything. Their fears lie over the GOP threatening to shut down the government. It has been uncovered by CNN that Republican candidates were communicating with and coordinating their campaigns with donors and political groups via Twitter. The communication between the groups is illegal. The previous colluding with outside groups were done through odd ads, like Mitch McConnell’s random smiling. Video of McConnell’s now infamous ad featuring him smile to cheesy music. In response to this brazen Twitter coordination, the FEC is most likely to do nothing about it. A NYC high rise building deal has quietly included a tax break for the ultra rich luxury developers that they are not eligible for. They got the tax credit by bribing Andrew Cuomo for only $100K to apply it to their needs. These tax credits could cost NYC $100 million/year, or $1 billion over its tenure. These fat cats received $1 billion for a simple bribe of $100K. Turkish president Erdogan has a 1.6 million sq ft palace with 1000 rooms. The price for this edifice has doubled in cost than originally estimated due to additions like imported Italian trees. When asked about the extravagance, the president claimed it a show of the country’s prestige. In the past he claimed that Muslims discovered America hundreds of years before Columbus came.
