The people that would be most immediately affected by this are the poor, who the Republicans don’t think vote anyway. This violation may anger these voters enough to urge them to oppose the GOP. James Lankford spoke about his Biblical worldview in taking care of debt. Sen.   1. Regarding Eric Holder, Ben reminded me of a podcast I quit listening to a while back, that essentially said “every time you hear the that the president wants to raise the minimum wage, you counter with [mockingly] ‘yeah, but drone strikes!.'”

    ….Yeah. Yeah, drone strikes. One is a tiny raise, one is the indiscriminate, lawless killing that might endanger Americans should one of the innocent’s families decide they want vengeance. One is some little reasonable thing Holder did, the other is the safety, security and confidence of one of the largest financial system.

    And his go-to argument was “yeah, well a Republican wouldn’t have done those things.” …..Okay?
    No one said that. The discussion didn’t go anywhere near “I wonder if a Republican would be better.”
