It’s time again for everybody’s favorite segment, Totally True or Totally Bullshit with Steve Oh and Malcolm Fleschner (and Dave Koller)! This week’s topics include:

• Dave gives an update on the status of the Bolivian government.

• Steve talks about TYT content being available on in-flight entertainment on Virgin America Airlines among others via YouTube.

• Many levelheaded americans and doctors have criticized the Ebola threat saying that it is overblown in the media. Others counter the critique by saying that a modicum of panic raises awareness and will cause preventative efforts. Totally True or Totally Bullshit?

• With Ebola infecting Americans and ravaging West Africa, is wearing an Ebola costume for Halloween inappropriate? Totally True or Totally Bullshit?

• Steve Oh shares a debacle involving an orange juice container exploding inside his car while he was driving on the freeway.

• The Sayreville High School football program is in a lot of trouble over allegations of a hazing scandal where Freshman team members were anally penetrated with digits and then forced to put their mouths on said fingers. If the upperclassmen had only violated one orifice, the season would still be allowed to continue. Totally True or Totally Bullshit?

  1. Goddamn, I love these “Friday” PG’s! It might be that they get the OJ smell out but only with a new chemical smell. But you live in Southern California so it’s nice enough to leave your windows down most of the time.

    1. yes I like them too. I would prefer it if they talked only about their own stories and “inside baseball” stories, so we can learn more about the inner workings of TYT.

We can get news commentary on the main show.

  2. I have not watched the PG yet but I want to comment on “black face”. Just using makeup to change your skin tone is not “black face”. ‘Black face” is when you darken your face then put white circles around your mouth and eyes with red accented lips. Look up Al Jolsen or Ted Danson black face and you will see an example of “black face” http://thegrio.com/2013/10/28/flashback-ted-danson-donned-blackface-at-whoopi-goldbergs-behest-20-years-ago-this-month/#s:danson-blackface

  3. I love Dave Koller he is so fucking awesome. There also should be a D and O show because I love how well Steve balances out Jimmy and Jimmy balances out Steve.

  4. Lots of those costumes are offensive and really not cool. It’s not like you can do anything about those people, but you can still call them dicks or something. An ejaculating dick, an abortion, etc. I’m not sure how ebola is offensive, though. It’s just a disease. That’s like saying I shouldn’t dress up as someone who’s dead because it might offend all those who died recently.

If I recall correctly, Halloween was based on the holiday where the dead rise for one night, so you’re supposed to dress as something scary to scare those spirits off. Now all these stupid costumes are around. I just like scary costumes.

Also, I still don’t get why black face is offensive. Someone wants to be someone else, so they dress like them and use make up like them, even if they’re black. They like that person enough to dress as them. They’re not hating on them. Still, I prefer scary costumes.

    1. “Also, I still don’t get why black face is offensive”

Things are offensive or not offensive only in CONTEXT, not on their own.

For example, word “ni**er” simply means “black”, if you translate it to plain English. So you have two words which mean the same thing, but one is offensive and the other is not purely because of context (historical).

Same is with coloured faces. Just on its own, changing colour of your face with make up for a party is not offensive. However, there is historical context exactly to white-to-black transformation, so it is offensive even though the act of painting on its own, without context, is not.
