President Obama has announced that he will appoint an Ebola Response Coordinator, or an “Ebola Czar.” Republicans, of course, have come out against Obama’s choice in full effect after bashing him for not having one. Cenk rants about how Obama fell for their trick, yet again. Jimmy talks about the Sickness of Neutrality in the media. New Fox News poll asked its viewers what’s the greatest threat: ISIS, Ebola, or Equal? Another asked how things are going in the world today, “To Hell in a Handbasket” or “Everything will be OK.” The NRCC ran a Willie Horton style ad against Democrat Brad Ashford, focusing on a murderer named Nikko Jenkins that was released early and killed again. Video of the ad, and the original Willie Horton ad that seemingly inspired it are shown. Cenk compares the Conservative outrage that ensued after Wendy Davis’ Wheelchair ad to these heinous ones. WolfPAC’s fight to overtake another state, New Jersey, has surpassed 2 of 3 phases. Video of WolfPAC member Steven Garcia testifying to the Jersey committee panel is played. The next step is a vote in the full NJ Senate. Americans for Prosperity showed up and argued against WolfPAC. Cenk noticed that since AFP didn’t show up to the Federal Congress discussing an amendment, but showed up to this one, shows that they know this is where their interests can be hit. A video shows the NJ Senate Chairman member talking about how everyone hates fundraising, Dems & Repubs, alike. ISIS has developed limited airpower capabilities, since they’ve obtained Iraqi pilots to train their fighters to fly the jets they captured from the Syrian military. Cenk is skeptical.
