John & Ana hosting. Another botched execution has taken place, this time in the state of AZ. The condemned inmate, Joseph Wood, took almost 2 hours to die while gasping for air 640 times. Witnesses like Troy Hayden of Fox 10 News said “it was very disturbing watching him, it was like a fish on shore gulping for air”. An Air Algerie flight disappeared from radar over Mali. In Taiwan a Transasia flight attempted to land 2 times but unfortunately crashed due to weather killing 48 people and injuring 10. The FAA lifted its ban on US flights to Tel Aviv with the agency continuing to monitor the situation in the Middle East. Michael Bloomberg on CNN says it was an “overreaction” from the State Department to give out a travel advisory along with the ban from the FAA. A humanitarian group in Israel attempted to put a radio ad out on the list of children who have died recently from Gaza, with the Israel Broadcasting Authority objecting to the ad saying it is “politically controversial”. Mallory Loyola tested positive for crystal meth while pregnant and could be prosecuted under a law in Tennessee which criminalizes drug use while being pregnant. Jeremy Schall and Ryan Deveraeux of The Intercept has leaked a guidebook on who gets placed on the terrorist watchlist. Due process and concrete facts get thrown out the door with this guidebook. Postings on social media or relatives deemed as a terrorist can be considered in placement on the terrorist watchlist. Data on the correlation of CEO performance and pay, courtesy of Eqular, is discussed with surprising observations. During the last 30 years, CEO pay has risen 127 times faster than the average worker.

The SICK thing about the Israeli war is that all the Christians in the world justify it like it’s a GOOD thing, because of course GOD is the protector and redeemer of Israel, so of course they’re going to be kicking ass! They’re all innocent civilians? So what? They aren’t children of GOD so they all need to be wiped from the Earth! The Israeli are taking the massacres in the Bible and trying to recreate it in modern times, because there is no real way to march around a city over and over while it magically falls to the ground, so blowing up the whole city is the Modern War.

Regarding the death penalty, I ask you this: When we have so many sick fucks in this country who rape 3-year-old little girls, molest, torture, kill little children, exactly WHAT is supposed to be done with this scum?? Even if we abolished ALL minor drug offense prisoners, trying to keep every other murderer, rapist, pedophile locked up their entire LIVES, seems like we’d run into a bit of a space problem. I also am sick to the fact that many prisoners are living better than all the homeless vets, the people living in the slums and starving, INNOCENT people going without food and shelter, because holding a single prisoner for one year is more costly than my ENTIRE YEAR’S INCOME. So, I am very disturbed by this case, and while these cases are rare, I don’t think trying to screw with taking life away chemically is sick and twisted. I am of the opinion that a shot to the head is by far less painful and tormenting than this lethal injection BS. It’s NOT instant when it takes I believe a minute or more to empty the huge syringes into the IVs, so clearly NOT instant. I also resent the fact that anyone who thinks the worst criminals on earth (and ONLY those) should be killed are just barbarians, is very judgmental and hypocritical. Every single one of you have some views on some topic that others vastly disagree with, that’s called being HUMAN. Maybe if you had grown up with a family member molesting you constantly, or a stepfather who terrorized you and your mother relentlessly for years, you’d be more apt to not want these kinds of people around at ALL.

  6. I think that Wolf Blitzer’s question was a stupid one. I have to side with Bloomberg as far as it being a really piss poor job of implying that the group in charge of our safety is playing political games. As far as whether or not it’s safe to fly into a war zone, Bloomberg is an ass.

    Overall I have to say that this episode makes me miss Cenk a lot. No offense to Ana and Mr. Pie, but the level of analysis really drops when these two present together and begins to meander into blatant partisan bashing instead of analytic response.

  11. No, I agree with the OP. Ana’s 1st hour last week was so lame. It was like a two hour second hour. Lame. Shouldn’t bother with a show if Cenk isn’t hosting.

    3. Couldn’t agree more. Ana simply doesn’t have the intellect to analyze political news. Ana just stops Cenk from being fun and entertaining when she is with him in the first hour. I am paying to hear Cenk, not some C-team girl who barely can grasp the news in front of her.

      1. Forreal! Membership is about supporting TYT as a whole. I respect your preference for Cenk (Of Course!) but no need to post such negativity :) Personally, John is actually my favorite hosts, always with his detailed notes and measured delivery. It’s always nice to see him able to get his points across without being shouted over by Cenk or Ben. I quite like the Ana/John team!

      3. This guy is right. Members need to cancel there individual subscriptions and start sharing an account with as many people as possible. TYT doesn’t deliver, the members don’t pay. We demand fucking Cenk and when you put Ana in the first hour, it’s a slap in our face.

    3. Cenk is the reason many of watch. Turned it off two days ago when Cenk was gone. Might do the same today.
