Cenk is back after being on vacation for 2 weeks.  The story of the release of military sergeant Bowe Bergdahl after being detained by the Taliban for 5 years.  He was released in exchange for 5 Taliban leaders that were being held at Gitmo.  Many are upset that this deal was done since he reportedly abandoned his post, which led to his capture.  Video of Fox News and guests constantly perpetuating the theme, “Obama is now negotiating with terrorists.”  Cenk points out that when Ronald Reagan was president, he openly traded arms for hostages with Iranian terrorists.  He also sold countless weapons to Iran.  Jay Carney and Chuck Hagel denied a negotiation with terrorists.  Mika Brzezinski defended the Obama Admin by claiming that he kills terrorists, so there’s no way he negotiated with them in this case.  Some of the servicemen that fought with Bergdahl are very unhappy about the results of this trade since he cost them lives when he deserted.  Cenk is on the fence when it comes to the nature of the trade since it seems that Bergdahl left his fellow soldiers behind and cost others’ their lives to find him.  Bowe’s father, Bob spoke at a press conference about how proud he is of his son, and spoke to him in another language at one point.  Cenk didn’t like that Bob also pointed out that they will do book tours in the future about their ordeals. Hug Gate between President Obama and Jay Carney after he announced that he will be leaving as press secretary.  Some even speculated that Carney kissed Obama’s arm during the hug.  Now that a gun toting group called Open Carry in Texas is building momentum with a protest where they carry AR-15s and AK-47s everywhere they go, even to lunch in the middle of crowds of people, the NRA even spoke out to say that they are going too far.  The leader of this group responded by saying the NRA is taking the side of gun control groups.  At one of these events, a former Marine approached the Open Carry nuts with a video camera and began receiving death threats.  A school board member in Texas lost her mind on her Facebook page over the election of a man with a Muslim sounding name to serve next to her.  She lambasted voters for not showing up to vote and keep a MUSLIM out of office.  After realizing her bigotry being on display, she came up with empty excuses and claimed it really wasn’t who she is.  In reality, she has a history of exclaiming that people must vote for a Mormon Romney over the Muslim Obama.  President Obama announced a plan to clean up greenhouse gases by implementing new limitations and rules for existing coal power plants. The FDA of Saudi Arabia has taken Cadbury chocolate off of its shelves after Malaysia discovered traces of pig DNA which would make it non-halal.  Video of classic Cadbury Bunny commercial where a pig tries to imitate the Cadbury bunny.

  1. I have recently had a terrible time watching hour one and two on my IPad. The video plays for about 10 minutes and then locks up. So, I have to start over again and fast forward to the place where it locked up. YouTube and Netflix work fine. I have always had trouble with TYT download on my Asus tablet so I got this IPad which seemed ok for awhile.

    Now that I have your attention, let me tell you how much I dislike the loud music you use to start off your shows. I set down to relax and what Cenk preach the truth, and all of a sudden I am jarred by the LOUD SOUND of your intro. Besides that, it wakes the others in the house. STOP WITH THE NOISE, Please.

  3. It has been weeks, since the last redesign of the website that I have not been able to play this on my iPad. The message reads “There seems to be no file supplied!”. It is really inconvenient for me to watch on my PC so please fix this as soon as you guys can. Also, with this redesign I can no longer get full past episodes of the other network shows like Pop Trigger and such. Do you guys need help? I know many of us are willing pro-bono.

    2. I see the same thing, but when I hold my finger on the “Download …” Button for a few seconds it plays for me. It locks up ten minutes later, but it does play for a while. Have some patience and it may work for you.

  4. I have met Jo Lynn personally. I worked with her to defeat the local school bond that was going to close down my kid’s school last year. She’s a moron, but you take allies where you can get them in politics.

  7. I wouldn’t be surprised if the open carry guys also have concealed handgun licenses. So either way, these nut jobs will be armed.

  8. I wonder when i will be able to see the show again on my tablet. I havent been able to see the shpw for week now……………

      1. My iPhone doesn’t work fine. It used too until they changed the site format. It sucks having to restart every 7 min.

    2. Im using Safari 6.1.4 and I am not having that issue. However when trying to watch the streaming video, it suddenly stops a short way through, and then says the video cannot be found. I realized that part of the message said something about timing out so I logged off and logged in again. After that, no problems. Maybe that will help?

    1. Thank you!! I’m getting pretty irritated by the GoT spoilers. I like to wait until the end of the season to watch, and it seems like I can’t do that and watch TYT every day. I already know some major plot points from this season. Grrrr.
