Malcolm Fleschner, Dave Koller, and Steve Oh on this edition of In the Flesch. Dave discusses the recent David Sirota expose regarding New Jersey Governor Chris Christie’s misuse of state pension funds to pay off political favors. The segment Totally True or Totally Bullshit returns. Should negotiations be sought over the kidnapping of Nigerian girls by terrorist organization Boko Haram? Is Cliven Bundy’s departure from the Republican party positive for the GOP? Toni Braxton believes that her autistic child has that condition as punishment from God. Is the criticism she’s received fair? A wealthy man is hiding envelopes of money around San Francisco as part of a twitter game for his amusement. Are there better ways for him to spend his money?

It sounds like somebody is getting jelly jelly. I think there should just be something called the D and O show and that is jimmy Dore and Steve Oh having their own show or something.
When you give a child up for adoption that they are going to suffer and die. They don’t take care of children that get put up for adoption. That’s why it’s better to just have an abortion because they don’t suffer first.
A prisoner swap isn’t the same as negotiation with terrorists as Cenk has talked about
I feel like I am forever behind in internet stuff. I can’t believe that I am even able to find time to watch this stuff now. I love TYT so much.
I hate the name “In the Flesh” but will absolutely put up with it if you do one of these PG’s every Friday! We love Dave Koller and Totally…is an awesome segment.
Whoever is mean to the panda bear doesn’t know that he is the world’s biggest sweetheart.
I love that you guys are still doing these! But I’m saddened to hear that Dave doesn’t have any input into what story is and isn’t covered on the main show. What’s his official status at TYT, isn’t he like one of the producers or something?
Nigeria isn’t USA, so “no negotiating with terrorists” as a hardline policy isn’t really something they can (or should try to) implement. But you missed an important detail – Boko Haram offered to release just some of the girts (40 or so?), not all of them. So taking the deal directly incentivizes them to keep asking for stuff at least a couple times more..
Also, Malcolm’s tracking idea is just… silly. It’s not like BH have a secret hideout in a volcano somewhere. In fact, I think I read somewhere that the Nigerian army knows exactly where they are and where the girls are being held, but isn’t confident of making a move ATM.
I love this post game — today and every time you do it. Today was especially interesting and fun. Thank you.
nice friday post game :)
Thanks, Glennsyham!
