Republican candidate Ryan Zinke in Montana has begun his own personal Super PAC. He formed it to help his campaign, and stepped down right before he announced his run. Bad news on the Net Neutrality front. Obama’s appointee, Tom Wheeler has succombed to the money given to him by internet providers that want the control over which websites can exist at the same speed as others. A large majority of Americans polled said that they don’t trust the opinions of SCOTUS Justices based on their political biases. New chart shows how much each major cable news network covers income inequality. The most interesting number showed that the reason CNN was behind both Fox and MSNBC is because they mention the Malaysian flight once every 6 minutes on their air. Wild Card Wednesday. My first reaction after reading a synopsis about Monica Lewinsky’s Vanity Fair story was that it was not favorable to Hillary at all, and if anything, that’s Monica’s way of getting back at Hillary for blaming her for her husband’s affair. If it is true, I don’t think think it was Monica’s only or even mail goal, though. But it did look like a well-timed zinger when it could count against Hillary.
So when Lynne Cheney came out with her conspiracy theory I was like, Wait…what? That’s supposed to help Hillary? Huh?
As a side note, I find it ironic and kind of sad that Hillary and Monica seem to be blaming each other more than the person who was at fault the most: Bill Clinton.

The Monica Lewinsky story is probably the dullest headline in a month. How are the republicans going to make political hay out of that story? It’s nearly 20 years old and hillary clinton was the victim in the story.
The Net Neutrality thing reminds me -so- much of the domestic spying issue- the US makes a gigantic change to the country, then acts as if they’re scrambling to find tiny solutions to it, and acting as if simply changing the NEW, RECENTLY-CHANGED policy back to the way it was, is the radical, politically unfeasible solution. It’s fucked up, and since this is the second time, it’s almost conspiratorial in nature.
I always feel bad when Jimmy talks about police like that. I was an Army MP for seven years and it was truly awesome helping people out. I was also a volunteer EMT in my hometown before I joined and that was for free. Jimmy is one of my favorite TYTers though, I can understand how people don’t like the police but the blanket statements sucks. I will say though that there are a tonnnnn of bad cops.
Being an Army MP is surely very different from being a street cop? I dated an EMT for a while and she probably hated cops more than I did.
Being an Army MP is just like working as a civilian cop. Army bases are just as big as a normal town or city is. I know people who aren’t in the military don’t realize it but Army bases are communities with homes, schools, shopping malls, really anything that a regular town does. There are civilians, military and family that work and live on post.
I think we’re all glad Cenk is back. I was afraid Jimmy was going to have a stroke yesterday talking about police.
