Cenk hosting today.  Latest on the cattle fight between a Nevada cattle rancher and the government that he has allowed his cattle to graze on.  Cenk goes over the potentially shady reasons behind Sen Reid’s son being involved in a company that wants to use the land for their own use.  After researching further, Cenk discovered that the land the company was looking to build on was nowhere near this land, and they abandoned the project in the summer of last year.  Former sheriff Richard Mack is supporting the Bundy Ranch and its gun-toting objective, and strategized a plan of putting all of their wives and daughters on the front line of the gun battle against the Feds.  This would show the pure evil of the “rouge” government officials by shooting the women that they placed in front of the men.  Ironically, a Black Chicago resident was arrested for pulling a gun on a store clerk that was charging a .22 cent tax on his Diet Pepsi.  He was enraged by the taxes placed on his soda as he was a resident of the neighborhood.  Wolf PAC’s Illinois chapter rallied and got the resolution passed after some serious legwork.  Audio of his description of how it was done.  A fight between Louie Gohmert and Eric Holder during a hearing on contempt charges led to a fallout about the treatment of the 1st Black president and the 1st Black Attorney General.  Conservatives like Scarborough and Brit Hume pointed out that they were horrible to Clinton in the ‘90s.  Some “Shoe Truthers” believe that Hillary Clinton staged the shoe throwing incident in order to get some sympathy and make people forget about Benghazi.  Bernie Goldberg of FoxNews also wrote about how its almost always true that Hillary plans these things.  The woman that threw the shoe spoke out about her motivations, which revealed she is a certifiable lunatic.  After the shooting in Kansas over the weekend, CNN published a story that revealed instances of Right Wing Terrorism in our country outnumbers Al Qaeda terrorism since 9-11.

  1. I am proud of Cenk and the turks today, seeing this success in illinois, and the mountain army, all of that is because Cenk willed it into being with his voice and his energy.

  2. If NAMBLA (pedophile group) fought for their freedom (to marry underage boys) against the tyrannical federal government by taking up rifles, would that be heroic? Would the tea party show up to their resistance?

Of course not, they’d be selective about who they support. But they’d just be saying they want to govern people, just how they want and when they want. And by then, it’s just by proxy, saying you just want mob rule, as long as you’re part of the mob.

    1. I think people stopped listening to you when you equated the Russian annexation of Crimea to when Hawaii became the fiftieth state…
Either you see the difference or you don’t want to.

      1. If did not write those two cases were equal. I only wrote that troops were on the ground in both cases, as well as in Kosovo referendum, so troops per se are not factor of abuse. You have to look at actual field evidence on whether troops were pointing guns at voters or tracked voters during or after referendum, and so on. There was no such thing in Crimea, according to over 2000 journalists and observers from 23 counties; here is Desi Doyan co-host Brad Friedman’s collection of field evidence on the issue http://www.bradblog.com/?p=10541. Of course, there were abuses, but none of significant scale.

And there was no “annexation” of Crimea. The term has both neutral and second, negative definition: “the formal act of acquiring something (especially territory) by conquest or occupation”, and this is why it is never used, for example, in cases like East and West Germanies reunification — even though there was no even referendum about that. So the only reason why this term is used by media now is propagandist, Orwellian word play.

So no, people did not stop listening to me (I try to be as specific and accurate as possible).

      2. What’s your point? The United States annexed Hawaii after overthrowing the queen in the 19th century. The United States spent $5 billion to cause the unconstitutional overthrow of the legitimate government of the Ukraine — the only difference being that the US hasn’t annexed it as well which will end of being the practical effect after it is hollowed out by the IMF.
What happened in Crimea is closer to what happened in Texas in 1836. Mexico invited Americans to settle in Texas, i.e. Mexico, the only prerequisite being that they pledge allegiance to Mexico.
However, after the Mexican emperor was deposed in a military coup and revolution, the Texans decided to fight to leave Mexico and join the United States.
The only difference, of course, was that Crimea freely joined Russia without any bloodshed.

    2. You are absolutely correct and I believe Cenk is toeing the line for business reasons. As you might remember, Cenk also sang the Israeli song when it came to their attack on the Palestine peace flotilla, as did Jon Stewart and the rest of the media. TYT is more of an opinion and entertainment outlet, not a news organization.
This idea of accepting that Russia must be behind the unrest in Eastern Ukraine because it looked too well coordinated is ludicrous… even laughable. Both you and I have been on Cenk’s case for this and it’s falling on deaf ears.
Having said that, I would just say 10 – 2… bring it down. Let events catch up with Cenk, he might actually learn something beyond his anti-Russian bias.

  3. Voted for both categories, and the web host vote was with these proportions in mind (Cenk 58%, John 25%, Ben 12%, Rubin 5%).

Cenk because he’s smart, honest, and funny as hell (painfully funny at times). He provides great insight due to his law background and he seems to understand (and predict) political news with a high rate of success. Oh and then there’s the small matter of his passion (and action) for getting money out of politics.

John, because after Cenk, he provides the most insightful analysis. He consistently puts things in ways I hadn’t considered before (although I don’t always agree, but he at least does a great job of providing food for thought/discussion). And it’s always great to see Ben and Cenk point out his nerdy/geeky personality.

Ben for the same reasons as John. And he and Cenk obviously have great chemistry from having worked together for so long.

Rubin, although he doesn’t often give insightful analysis, he does a great job of keeping the conversations going (and also moving on when necessary) and asking the panel the right questions. He never comes off as a know-it-all and he is probably the best at actually presenting a story and then letting the others discuss. John is pretty good at that too.

Keep up the great work TYT.

  4. Bundy and his clan are a bunch of degenerates that need to pay their fair share. Otherwise I’d lock him in a small hole for being a thug.
