Cenk, It’s not empathy that causes a judge to go along with “affluenza”. It’s sympathy with someone like his own kids. That’s vastly different from empathy.

In terms of the Albuquerque police department, it does not matter what a police chief’s officers do on the job. A police chief will always back up his officers in fear of saying something that may hang his department in a court of law if a lawsuit ever comes about.
