  1. Putin is a liar and a thief. His episode with Robert Kraft proved that.

The problem with the Ukraine and consensus is that much of Europe gets it’s natural gas for heat, from Russia.

We’d have to reinsititute the Lend/Lease Program, mass producing of cargo ships to build a logistic bridge across the Atlantic to almost all of Europe.

Crimea is a penninsula, with a 25 mile wide choke point, that could easily be blockaded by the Sixth Fleet.

Moving assets already in the Aegean Sea, through the Dardanelles and the Bosphorus would send a stronger message than money will, but the ten percent drop in Russian markets the morning after, did give Putin pause.

Until we solve the problem of Europe freezing to death in the winter, no action will be with a consensus agreement.
