 Cenk hosting today.  The wrap up from CPAC.  The conference ended with the Straw poll that had Rand Paul winning overwhelmingly with 31% of the votes.  He was followed by Ted Cruz, Dr. Ben Carson, and then Chris Christie.  Cenk points out how Ron Paul, Rand Paul, and Mitt Romney have been the winners for the past several years, which shows that young Republicans identify as Libertarians rather than traditional Repubs.  Rand Paul and Ted Cruz are taking shots at each other since they know they will face each other in the GOP primary for president in 2016.  Videos of them both quoting Reagan in battling over their foreign policy strategies that opposes the other.  Cenk calls out the weakness of Pres Reagan on foreign policy and how Republicans would hate him today.  Video of Ted Cruz ruffling Republican feathers at CPAC when he called out the “Pres Doles, McCains, and Romneys” of the world that don’t exist because they didn’t stand for principles.  McCain responded by saying Cruz should apologize to Bob Dole.  Rand Paul responded by claiming he doesn’t like to drag people down the way Cruz does.  Dick Cheney lamented the decision to take military action off of the table when dealing with Russia in Ukraine, calling it weakness and indecisiveness. On Fox & Friends First, they were talking about the National Spelling Bee and misspelled “Spelling Be” on the graphic.  New segment on TYT: “Is It Racist?”  A MN State Rep tweeted that if the NBA folded tomorrow, no one would notice except for the rise in street crime.  When called out for his veiled racist tweet, he denied it.  David Sirota has written another devastating piece on PBS and how they are actually privately funded and controlled by Liberty Media.  Liberal think tank Think Progress, which is run by Center for American Progress, has been outed by a former writer for the site after he was warned by the Democrats in DC to not oppose the Obama Admin plan to surge in Afghanistan.  After phone calls from the WH poured in over his writing, the powers that be berated him for criticizing the Admin’s policies and causing daylight between them and the WH. Lightning Round.  Gov Rick Scott of Florida is getting his ass kicked by Democratic challenger, Charlie Crist in preliminary polls, and Republicans are not happy about it.  Mark Begich added onto the battle against the Koch Brothers with Sen Reid.  Obama’s nominee for the Civil Rights arm of the Justice Dept has been voted down by the Senate because while he worked for the NAACP, they once represented Mumia, the accused cop killer.
