Ana joins Cenk for SCS.  Update to the Dylan Farrow story of her accusing Woody Allen of sexually abusing her.  Ana corrects the facts that TYT got wrong while discussing the story yesterday.  Videos of Barbara Walters and Mika Brzezinski discussing the case from each end of support and opposition.

BYU PSAs focusing on “The War on Porn” to keep guys from masturbating.  Videos of the PSA that didn’t seem to make the point effectively.  A group of female students from Columbia University created a video to explore the rituals of our schools’ Greek system and showed how repulsive woman on woman sexual contact can be.  They tried to make it gross, but that didn’t come across.  A reporter from Gawker asked Jerry Seinfeld why he doesn’t have more people of color on his web series.  He responded angrily and put the reporter in his place.  In the past, Seinfeld praised past comedians like Richard Pryor and Bill Cosby.  He also has Aziz Ansari on his show somewhat regularly.

Human Rights Watch has released videos showing some of the extreme abuse gay people in Russia have been experiencing from the group “Occupy Pedophilia.”  A 5th grade transgender girl has won her case against her school that wouldn’t allow her to use the girls bathroom after a male classmate made a big deal over it.

  1. Mia Farrow signed a waiver for her film clips to be in that Golden Globe tribute. Then as it was airing she started tweeting about him being a pedophile. Why participate in it, then tell everyone they’re awful for praising him?

    The day Farrow says this abuse happened was months into the custody battle at Farrow’s house full of her family. She’s saying Woody Allen took this kid up into the attic and did this in a house full of people who already hated his guts. I don’t know WHAT happened but that makes no fucking sense.

    The tape Farrow made of Dylan telling what happened stopped and started and was recorded over days. Investigators thought coaching was possible.

    We can’t know what happened really but I get pissed when people treat Allen as if he were convicted when he was never even charged.

  2. I live near BYU and I would NEVER go there. They have strict rules that you have to follow like no drinking, you have to live in approved housing and can’t have the opposite sex over at night. They really are anti-anything that feels good except for “the holy ghost”

  3. That video on the assault of Gay men in Russia was horrific. The sounds and images of human suffer is still haunting me hours later. I totally agree with Cenk’s implication. That the people who do the torture and attacks on the LGBT community are no doubt closet cases. Striking out at others the hate they feel inside for themselves.

    Supposedly they beat up queers to “protect the children”. What kids are in danger by some dude walking down the street minding his own business? Or when one adult tries to go on a date with another grownup?

    I’m so angry and disgusted. So happy President Barack Obama and other world leaders refuse to give credibility to the Russian regime by participating in the Sochi Olympics. It’s looking to be a big disaster anyway.

  6. How come you blocked out the girls breasts in that video? Not because I cared to see them, I was indifferent, but wasn’t it kind of hypocritical. Your always pointing out, correctly, that nudity is not a big deal at all. It is a perfectly natural thing.

    2. The clip will likely end up on YouTube, which has a long standing policy against nudity on their site. They have to play by the rules.

      1. Yea, but it was on the show what I’m talking about, not on YouTube. If I saw the clip on YT, I would obviously understand.

      1. Although “my end” isn’t what it used to be (and I admit wear and tear plays some part in that), I believe the end at fault here lurks with the TYT building.

  8. The BYU PSU has some legitimacy if it is targeted against those who have porn addictions that dominate their life rather than simply casual use. I don’t know what the video includes. If it is just against causal use, then it is proper to criticize. The battlefield image was of a wounded soldier, not one masturbating during a battle. This was underlined by a couple of references to saving the wounded. The video may be overall ridiculous if, as you claim, it is against casual masturbation rather than porn addiction, but at least the battlefield part was a straightforward image of saving a wounded comrade.
