Dinesh D’Souza indicted for campaign finance fraud, and faces a maximum of 7 years in prison. Clip of Dinesh at CPAC 2012, and with Cenk at Current TV. Clip of Andrew Cuomo saying extreme conservatives have no place in New York. Sean Hannity is butthurt by the comments, and says he will leave New York. Clip of Hannity being asked if he will leave New York, and says he will as soon as his son graduates high school. James O’Keefe is also butthurt, and says he will also leave New York. Mike Huckabee doubles down on his “uncle sugar” comments about women and birth control. He says the outrage is caused by “card-carrying Liberals”. Reince Preibus and Rick Santorum do not have Huckabee’s back.

New legislation that is trying to limit tax evasion called FATCA. Republicans are trying to repeal this. Some KKK members have been indicted for conspiring to use a weapon of mass destruction – an invisible x-ray cannon to target Muslims. Koch brothers are ramping up for the 2016 election.

California has been trying to push a technology that makes guns “microstamps” on every bullet fired. Gunmakers, however, have been opposed, while lawmakers support it. Cenk does a lightning round.

  1. It is not easy to get so many people to believe all republican weirdness. (womans rights – black rights (voting, % of nonviolent black criminals etc) – abortion – guns – Obama etc)
    There is only one method witch which you can get large groups of people to believe your nonsence indoctrination. Ironicaly the same thing the USA was so afraid of during the cold war has infiltrated and is wreaking havoc on your country. This means there is a country wide decenia long effort to get people to believe these things.
    It is not very hard to find the culprits – churches and marketing stratgy departments of large compagnies #EdwardBernays
    Know your enemy, now you will have to find a way to fight them, because currently you are losing.

  5. Oh Boy! I’m in soooo much ecstasy right now about the D’Souza story it’s unbelievable! Dinesh is such a piece of crap it makes me giddy to see my douche coworker who happens to be friends with Dinesh and communicates with him regularly. I’ve gotten into arguments with him a few times before because he keeps telling me what an intelligent, brilliant, “family values”, model Republican and a true patriot Dinesh D’Souza is. Made me want to vomit!!! My coworker is such a moron and a tool I can’t wait to se him and blast him with the news about his friend! hehehehe…. The only thing better right now is having a bowl of my favorite ice cream with hot fudge, whip cream, crushed nuts and a cherry on top! :D

  6. Uncle Sugar is derived from “Uncle Sam”. The “Sam” is changed to “Suger” to imply the government is the source of excessive benefits, like a sugar daddy.

  8. Technically, the fiscal year of 2008 which ended conveniently on 30 September 2008, had the lower deficit figure D’Souza claims. [http://cbo.gov/sites/default/files/cbofiles/attachments/43907-BudgetOutlook.pdf], Figure 1-1. There’s no serious academic dispute i suppose about the driver of the deficit explosion in the fiscal year of 2009 which, having started on October 1 2008, was the current fiscal year of Obama’s inauguration. Nevertheless, 2009 remains the year of the deficit explosion and I think the brag factor of the archived interview had increased by Cenk getting that part right.
