John Iadarola, Jimmy Dore, and Steve Oh hosting.  Talk about Cenk’s trip to New Hampshire to walk 18 miles to bring attention to the cause of getting money out of politics.  Gov Bob McDonnell of Virginia and his wife have been charged with fraud for taking money and gifts from a CEO for political favors.  Republicans are targeting ObamaCare by going after a provision called “risk corridors” and rebranding it as a bailout.  If they eliminate this portion, all premiums will go up and they can blame ObamaCare for the higher costs.  After Nancy Grace’s rants against the legalization of marijuana, World Star Hip Hop put together a mashup of her previous argument claiming that pot doesn’t make someone violent directly against her argument that it does.  

Claudio Smith chased after a man he noticed on his front lawn with sagging pants.  When he went to confront him, the man ran and Smith chased him down, and eventually shot him to death.  He is now claiming Stand Your Ground.  A man that is concerned about drones flying overhead in Colorado is advocating an ordinance that would allow residents to fire shots at drones if they fly close enough to them.  In anticipation for this passing, he has begun selling licenses to hunt drones.  GOP Rep Kevin McCarthy has come out in favor of allowing legal status for immigrants already in America, but not for a pathway to citizenship.  This could be an indication that the Party is beginning to realize that they must soften up on their hardnose position against immigrants.  Another instance of voting rights being limited in Tennessee.  One Republican legislator proposed to disallow college identification as a valid ID for voting.

  1. It should be important to note that if you legalize the right to shoot down drones, as Steve O commented, increased chances of injury to stanerby’s and the shooter may increase. Walking around with the gun might also invite/incite violence. However, we should also bring up the question as to what if an armed citizen misses? What goes up must come down! Although Deer Trail Colorado may not have a large population lets hope the citizens of Deer Trail aren’t around when a shot rings out.

  7. I knew where Cenk was because I get emails about this. It is great way for Cenk to do the losing weight he wants to do. I would have done that but I had no way of getting to NH. I live in MA so it was semi possible but no where to get there. I want just Jim and Steve on this show. It will be known as the D and O show.

  11. The affordable care act is awesome. I get way better insurance for the less cost in Oregon. We now pay nothing for birth control pills as well. Anyone that is bashing the ACA is drinking the Republicon koolaid or would you like to get canceled by your insurance as soon as you get sick. Think about it!!

      Everyone i know who was lucky enough to have insurance before, either had their plan cancelled or rates went thru the roof.. For me, just me, a 30y male, its over $300 a month… for a plan that leaves me fucked should i actually need to use it via huge deductables.

      SO, are you loaded enough to be able to afford this?
      Or are you broke enough to get financial aid with this?

      Cause i cant figure out who is getting prices they can afford, short of the two listed above. Everyone i know cant afford it, including my boss.

      YOU SIR, are drinking the democratic koolaid. Good for you that you can afford it…. But all the affordable health care act means to me, is I am now gonna be penalized for not being able to afford insurance….

  14. This is a good Dore/non-Dore ratio. If all he did was take some money to let the other guy hang out at the mansion by the pool for a while, then I’d say LET EM GO, even if that’s corruption, I don’t even care about it, but I would be shocked if that’s all it was. There has to be something more to it.
