I’m having the same problem. I want to watch the Jan 9th show ,it’s been days… what’s up with that TYT?
Hi TYT. Everytime I click on the second hour button for January 9th, I come here to January 8th.
Follow up to the illiterate athletes topic! Do these percentages of people who can’t read translate in any particular way to how good the player is?
If you want to make it illegal to use black box information when an accident happens on private property then ok. If an accident happens on public property (AKA roads) then this isn’t a privacy issue. As a condition of using public roads you have to have a license, a road worthy vehicle (which in some states just means head lights and blinkers etc and in other states means fuel emission standards), and now you have to agree to allow your driving telemetry be used to determine what happened in an accident.
Now if this extends to police reading the black box during “routine” traffic stops or the data being sent wirelessly to anyone all the time your driving, then yeah I’d say we have issues.
I am not even sure if people read this the day-after the show but – I agree with Cenk & Ana regarding Dennis Rodman being in North Korea, it was truly sad. Dennis shouldn’t (and doesn’t) speak for all Americans. Greg Anthony has a great point, but his comparison is apples and oranges. But it be AMAZING if Dennis actually DID make a difference.
I read it days after the show. I’ll be your fan. *wink*
Techmology! That’s what I always think too thanks to Cenk.
Wait. So you’re saying that if someone can afford to pay (or have their parents pay) for Ivy League education, that this is evidence that they earned that matriculation more than someone who got an athletic scholarship at a public university? Tell me how that works. I’m sure there are plenty of students getting into Stanford with below average test scores because they’re good athletes.
I would hope that the average test score of Ivy League athletes would be higher than public school athletes, but we don’t know if that’s true until the data is released.
However, I think if an Ivy League school has a team that does well despite the fact that they don’t offer athletic scholarships, then they deserve more praise than a school that pays for their talent.
I think you guys were misleading on the content of the “thug cycle” video and you probably should have just shown it. I’m not saying it was right for the police department to post it but after seeing it elsewhere I have to say it is worse than you guys make it out to be. It isn’t just some people swearing in the background with the kid there they are actually swearing at and actively picking on the kid. Very misleading.
yup…. another aggervating story from TYT….. Me thinks they took the all too common liberal approach of ‘defend the baby’…. Nobody is attacking the baby… we are saying the parents are pushing their kid into the ‘thug cycle’….
Its obvious….
