  1. LOL @ the LSD propaganda like jumping off roofs and all that nonsense. LSD and shrooms can’t hurt you Cenk. I would love to trip with Cenk.

  2. Well Marijuana can kill you as has killed people, because you can kind of overdose and then choke on your own vomit. Also heavy long term usage, can lead to paranoia and cause psychosis.
But still it is a powerful medical plant and less dangerous than alcohol.

    1. Yeah you can overdose on it by smoking something along the lines of 140 joints in 5 minutes or something. Hence making it physically unable to overdose on marijuana.

      …. you’re silly

  3. About gathering drinking water from fog: Water droplets condense around particulate matter. In polluted air, you will have polluted fog.

There are various coatings that absorb non-polar molecules, while allowing water to pass through. These could be used in pre-filters to remove a lot of pollution before the water is condensed. Such materials are used in oil-spill cleanup booms. You also need mechanical filters to remove particulates like soot. Making these hydrophobic might keep the water vapor moving through. The important question is the energy cost of extracting the water as I presume a chiller is involved as condensation releases heat and this heat has to be removed to keep the process going. You would also need blowers to bring in enough volume of air and will have a cost for your filters.

  4. Cactii in the Atacama desert collect water from fog naturally so it’s not surprising that Chile came up with that idea…

    Desi Doyen rocks!
