Bob Filner’s 10th victim.  Sydney Leathers, Anthony Weiner’s sexting partner, has made her porn video. New terror alert causing 19 American embassies to be shut down.  Cenk finds these developments suspicious with the timing in order to validate the NSA spying that is generating negative attention. It turns out that the Tsarnaev brother that died was not only into radical Islam, but American Right Wing views as well.  He was concerned about “The Rape of our Gun Rights.” A new spying program between multiple security agencies allows Federal information obtained by spying to be given to local law enforcement as long as they don’t reveal where they got their information.  Video of Rep Amash defending Snowden’s motivations, calling him a whistleblower rather than a traitor.  A poll asked who is hot in politics, and Christie came in 1st.  When only Republicans were asked, Christie landed in 8th place.  Newt Gingrich announced that we should rethink our policy of intervening in Middle East countries should be rethought.   1. I don’t see how Cenk thinks the Obama administration is abusing the Espionage Act. The purpose of the Espionage Act is to allow the government to imprison anyone who says anything they don’t like, people who speak against the government or against its actions. Mostly, it has been used to imprison pacifists, anarchists, communists, and the like. As far as I can tell, Obama is using the Espionage Act essentially as it was meant to be used. The problem is that the Espionage Act exists at all, not that Obama is using it.

  2. idk Cenk , if you look….. the New York times was wanting to publish the names of the plotters but the intelligent services asked them not to. they were finally given the go ahead after another new paper published the names. I like to be part of TYT but every time i disagree with Cenk i get called an Obama loyalist and stuff like that. there are alot of things i do not like about Obama. for example i hate the prism and other things that the NASA is doing, I do not like the drone program , i am very upset that Guantanamo is not closed. That been said Obama got us Obama care it is not perfect but much better than where we where before it, ended the Iraq war which would not have happened if another president got elected. It fail but they tried to pass a background check for all guns, Lilly better act, got Osama beladen ……. all i am trying to say is that we do not have to agree on every thing but i do not have to be called Obama this or Obama that. i say this with respect to the tyt army .   4. Just a comment on the DEA using NSA intelligence to convict possible drug offenders: Think about how arbitrary this is once again. They’re using this violation of the Constitution to attack the less powerful. I guess it would be unimaginable for the authorities to use this information to bust Wall Street guys, right? Instead, we’re forced to hear how difficult it is to build a case against these fat cats. Pathetic.

    Just to make clear, I don’t approve or condone the use of this information in criminal cases, I’m just trying to illustrate a point about the arbitrariness of its usage.

    1. The video is streaming direct from Amazon’s cloud service, which either means YOUR internet is slow or one of the largest video content hosting sites in the world is slow. The only thing TYT could do to help is make the file sizes smaller. They might be able to compress them further, but chances are the only way to do this is deliver it in lower resolution.
