Innocent man convicted of rape 30 years ago exonerated after a 70-year old clerk helped him gain his freedom by helping him file the correct forms.  She was fired just months before her retirement over this action.  Uruguay is legalizing marijuana. An Islamic pundit in Turkey has spoken out against pregnant women being out on the street in their 3rd trimester because its disgusting, immoral, and not aesthetically pleasing.  Czech Republic will allow people to wear a pasta strainer for the religion of Pastafarian. Ultra Orthodox Jews in Israel blocked buses and smashed out all of the windows due to an incident where they wanted a woman to move to the back of the bus.  She refused, so they lost their minds.  Discussion of fundamentalism. Ana, Cenk, Jimmy Dore and Steve Oh.

  1. Oh, FYI OBAMA does NOT control WHO or WHERE the DEA goes to bust Marijuana grows. Until the entire ‘War on Drugs’ as you like to generalize it, is shut DOWN and the DEA no longer exists, they will continue to go on their personal treasure hunts and pirating of innocent people’s homes!! Boy, you guys sure loved to blame Obama for everything and the kitchen sink back then didn’t you??

  2. STEVE, IT HAPPENED BECAUSE PEOPLE SAID “CALM DOWN LET’S FIGURE THIS OUT FIRST” AND THEN DID NOTHING! PEOPLE ONLY GET THIS ANGRY WHEN IT IS CLEARLY FUCKING WRONG AND IT NEVER CHANGES AND NEVER WILL CHANGE! HOW IS IT NOT EMBARRASSING FOR THEM TO APOLOGIZE TO THIS GUY AND HIS FAMILY FOR WRONGLY CONVICTING HIM???

  3. I LOVE how Steve thinks HIS speculations are correct and the more likely speculations by Cenk and the others can’t possibly be true! STEVE, HE DID NOT HAVE TO “REWARD” HER FOR DOING THE RIGHT THING, SIMPLY DON’T FIRE HER!! How is that incentive for others to do it??? Justifying people preferring to keep innocent people in prison is SICK SICK SICK!!!

  4. I know this is an old video but Steve and Cenk going at it was uncomfortable to watch. You can tell Ana and Jimmy were feeling the same way was well but they’re old friends and I’m sure they see themselves like brothers. Great discussions and topics. I do wish I could have seen Jimmy’s ID pic though! hahaha

  5. Steve’s arguments sucked with the prosecution story. He was making goofy points about semantics. Plus, I think he just likes to tell Cenk to calm down when he (thinks he) gets the chance.

  7. Got to keep a cool head when so passionate Cenk. However, I wouldn’t have either. The outcome on this poor lady is unexcusable.

  8. I wonder if the judge would’ve fired that woman if it was one of his relatives that she helped get out of jail for the right reasons.

  9. That was intense early in the show Cenk and Steve. As a viewer, it looks like an uncomfortable situation. This is what I percieve: In TYT, Cenk is boss, and it’s hard to disagree with him on air successfully. I thought Steve was makeing more fair assessments based on the evidence. I can’t imagine Cenk changing his mind about the issue on air after making his point with so much charisma. This raises a red flag for me.

  11. Jimmy Dore’s comments about sex during pregnancy were incredibly uninformed, disgusting, and inappropriate. And they made me laugh until I cried.

  13. Best President in the World. Pres. Molina of Uruguay. Maybe he can shame some of the other Presidents of the world into really representing their people.

    1. I tried googling Pres. Molina and the only thing i found was a politician from Guatemala named Otto Perez Molina, who are you referring to?

  14. Steve is wrong this one time on the motivations of the court and the Judge. Cehk is right to be pissed. I am too!

    – No that’s Switzerland.

    Ugh… As a Swede I just have to point out that officially we still are neutral (laugh along with me) as we have been since 1814. We just bend over backwards to please the United States government every time. But there are talks especially within the ruling Moderate party to join NATO officially. Anyways, I’m ashamed to say Snowden did the right thing not to even consider coming here to this “neutral” country.

  17. Cenk is so right about the prosecutors and judges post conviction. They have to be shamed into doing the right thing.

  18. I generally stand on Cenk’s side as he most often gets it correct.

    Saying that, he definitely got too emotional over the prosecution story. Fact is, even if he is correct (which I do believe so), it is not conductive to discussion when there is an overpowering anger in the discussion. People in rage tend to repeat the same point over and over again, at which point it’s simply not a discussion anymore.

  19. I notice a different table, and changes to layout and camera. Is this strategic? Like to maybe help the audience get used to the upcoming studio change?

  20. Great show, I loved the blowout between Steve and Cenk, Jimmy’s hilarious as always and Ana was totally on fire, sexy fire.

  21. They didn’t even mention my favorite tenet of Pastafarianism, which is global warming is caused by a lack of pirates.
