Edward Snowden has released information on another of the NSA’s information gathering programing called XKeystone.  President Obama has continued to speak out against the supposed employment benefits of building the Keystone Pipeline.  Fallout and reaction continue from Reza Aslan’s interview on Fox News.  Reza pointed out that he felt sorry for Lauren Green and Brent Bozell backed up her idiotic line of questioning. 3 Way Cat fight between Chris Christie, Rand Paul, and Peter King.  Gov Scott Walker of MN is hinting to restrict collective bargaining rights for police and firefighters.  Video of Rush Limbaugh espousing his beliefs that Republicans shouldn’t compromise with Democrats at all because they always have to give away everything.  He also attacked Black people in Detroit with the reason for its bankruptcy. Anthony Weiner campaign turmoil has bubbled to public view after a former intern exposed all of the problems to the NY Daily News. The Communications Director of the campaign called her a multitude of names. Ana, John, and Dave Rubin hosting.

  2. Just to keep it real. Fox is disgusting and that interview is disgusting to watch, but Reza Aslan is a pretty pedantic “scholar” who has NO PhD in religionSSS, so even when Fox is being ridiculous he is claiming to have degrees he just doesn’t have, and that is classic for Reza Aslan, arguing from authority is all he does, whenever some one criticizes his logic he tells them that he is a trained scholar of religion as if that was an argument.

  3. The TYT level of understanding regarding our current “terrorist” (for lack of a better word) threats and the technology the NSA has developed to fight them is painfully non-existent. It’s so much bigger than “the Boston bombings.” Would be great if they fostered a serious discussion of the pros and cons. Bill Mar had better analysis in a 30 second comedy segment than anyone on TYT has ever had. Sorry TYT. Maybe you could look a little deeper than these surface privacy issues or move on from the NSA story.

  4. Ana, thank you for pointing out that Rand Paul isn’t a Libertarian. This association of Rand Paul to Libertarians goes unchecked in nearly every mention of his name. He occasionally says something that has an aspect of the Libertarian platform; however, Obama has said things that agree with Libertarians, but no one is calling Obama a Libertarian — They are too busy calling him a socialist. I unable to think of something that Senator Paul has said that was 100% libertarian without a following statement that pulls his stance to 50% libertarian; The prime example is his position on drones.

  5. in your description it says “Gov. Scott Walker of MN”, he’s actually the infamous governor of Wisconsin. Just thought I point that out.

  9. I love Ana’s input. She is the only person in the news/media who is smart and young. We are the same age and I can’t tell you how much I love to hear from someone with similar life experiences. The balance that Ana and Cenk have is excellent. Cenk has a lot of experience which is a great attribute to bring to the table, but his opinions are often set and stubborn. It is refreshing and insightful to hear from someone who is currently working their way through forming their ideas. I feel she represents my generation in an accurate way. There isn’t anyone on TV/Radio/Internet more honest than these two. I love their unscripted style, even if it is the cause of mistakes and the occasional giggles. It humanizes them and it allows them to be completely honest which I appreciated more than anything. This show, without Ana, would have much less value for me. Keep it up!

  10. Obvious Cenk isn’t here. On the Keystone – notice Obama mentions repealing of obamacare. He’s out there telling the oil giants that they should send a message to their republican bitches and get them to lay off Obama’s legacy work, so that the pipe gets inserted with presidential lubricant.

  13. Ana is a fucking ignorant annoying sidekick. Stop puting her on screen. Has nothing to say , all she knows about life she has pretty much learned from Cenk and TYT, all she fucking does is parrot Cenk.

    Good work by John and Dave though.

    3. You are being rude but I agree with you for the most part. Ana might be a wonderful person, beautiful, whatever but she is a horrible TV host. It’s almost physically painful watching her (you can just see her trying to form intelligent sentences every single time, GOD JUST TALK NORMALLY) – she has completely mediocre knowledge of everything, no insight or original views (parroting Cenk or standard lib views), but most tragically of all she is not funny. Why is Gina Grad so awesome? She is charming and funny. That’s what you need to be to be a tv personality. Again, as a person, friend, gf Ana might be wonderful but she is horrible on TYT and now she has infected the first hour with her presence.

    4. Minus the over-top insults (we can criticize and be civil, right?), I agree.

      Some TYT network side-hosts have developed this nauseatingly saccharine circle of complimenting and patting each other on the back: “You’re so great!”, “No, YOU’RE so great!”, “You’re so funny and beautiful and intelligent!” etc, etc. Especially at the beginning and end of show segments. The truth is, some of you are not so great and don’t add anything special to the program.

      Ana is a classic example. She admits that she job the job (almost) accidentally as a last-minute fill in and has managed to hang on for seven years because Cenk values loyalty and hard work. Ana might a nice person and add some feminine perspective to counterbalance the men, but SHE HAS NOTHING INSIGHTFUL TO ADD. It’s soooo painful to witness every day. I’ve watched her over all those years basically adopt variations of Cenk’s political views and try to mimic his logical thinking process. Meanwhile presenting stories as if her vocal chords are permanently stuck in Cap Locks mode. Not to mention that critical scientific and environmental stories get woefully butchered due to her lack of basic science background. I’ve lobbied over and over to get the beautiful and intelligent Cara Santa Maria as a replacement, but she seems to be stuck in the TYT back closet :(

      1. @Autumn127 – Yeah, at this point they will never get rid of her. Would be nice if she moved out on her own but no one else will take her, because outside of her good looks (if you are into that…) she has absolutely nothing to offer.
