To me, Town Square sounds a little bit too much like Townhall.com, which is like ground zero for all the conservative bloggers on the internet. You don’t really want to be associated with that.
Actually, for a while I had the theory that Cenk intentionally chose something that sounded like Townhall to leach away some of their audience.

I live in Washington. According to Washington State Law, marijuana is legal for recreational / personal use. As for distribution, there is a provision in the law to create a business license for distribution a la liquor stores. However… and that’s a big however… the State has NOT created this license yet! Any dispensary currently operating in the State of Washington are doing so outside of the law. Washington has until December 1, 2013 to create the license system. That is still 4 months away, which is likely why the Feds came in, *technically* Obama was abiding by State’s Rights.
What’s his excuse for all the other states that he’s had the DEA raid?
FYI The guy that started TED talks did a video on THNKR recently talking about how the French Revolution was caused by a volcano, where the ash in the stratosphere reduced crop yield and caused the poverty in France. So… before we dust our stratosphere, maybe we should plant more crops, etc? Just saying.

you look at the weed in WA from wrong perspective. It is not issue of being conservative or progressive. USA is a puritanical country and that is the reason that things like legal drugs are an issue. As is sexting and such. And it is not that they don’t do those things themselves. Its that they don’t want it be done openly, thats all.
