San Diego mayor Bob Filner’s sexual harassment problems are growing as 4 more women have come forward with their stories.  Chris Matthews asked his female panel if women also do sexting the way Weiner does.  While chiming in on the debate over educational costs, Virginia Foxx declared that Congress has no responsibility in making college affordable or accessible.  A Dean of a for-profit college that was shut down was busted for having a sex dungeon that he advertised on Craigslist. Glenn Beck spoke to an audience about how America was founded to establish the country of Israel.  North Carolina has passed a new voter suppression bill that blatantly discriminates against real democracy in multiple ways.  Al Qaeda had a “Fun Day” to boost their positive PR, that included pie eating contests for kids and a tug of war. Cenk, Ben, Ana, and John Iadarola hosting.

  1. Something Ben said in the last 2 minutes made me think about how “we” have been approaching the gun control debate: trying to illustrate that countries with strict gun laws (Britain, Japan, Australia (coincidentally all islands so it’s easier to control the borders)) have lower crime rates…
    BUT
    What if instead we pointed to all the countries where everyone and their kids and their dogs are armed to the teeth and asked, “how is that working out for them?”?

  3. Re; The dollar bill: There actually *are* 13 arrows in the Eagle claw. And 13 leaves on the branch. And 13 stars above the eagle head… And 13 stripes on the flag… ( All representing the 13 colonies/states, and not some radical religious conspiracy about Israel. )

  6. Guys – I can’t believe you haven’t heard of the great seal. I’m British, living in the UK, and I know about it – and it exists in as an original colour version. I know Beck’s a complete idiot, but I like you guys to look cleverer than Beck. That was embarrassing!

  9. Best panel ever. TYT has the best hosts of any news show. Also holy crap Ana looks good with her glasses and hair up like that, total sexy librarian thing going on.
