Gitmo force feeding.  Senators Durbin and Feinstein are surprisingly making statements against this practice.  Many Gitmo detainees are innocent and slated for release, but the US still holds them.  Bradley Manning trial.  The prosecution evidence is very flimsy. Oliver Stone’s video on violations of civil liberties.  Jerrold Nadler and Wyden have spoken out against the national security state. Michelle Malkin says the Gitmo detainees are not suffering. Rand Paul is associated with a guy who is a racist, The Southern Avenger. Pat Robertson now says he’s not against gays.  US treatment of Khalid Sheik Mohammed. The CIA allowed him to build a vacuum cleaner while in custody. Student Loans.  Bi-partisan Senate deal on student loans says that at the beginning the loans will have lower rates, and that rates will be pegged to 10 year Treasury notes.  The Democrats and Republicans get together to screw students and help banks.  Is it possible that Republicans will kill immigration reform?  Cat Fight – Boehner vs. Reid.  McConnell vs. Reid.

  1. I’m very glad I chose to go with the Unsubsidized Stafford. Yeah, I’m currently paying more in interest, but I don’t have to worry about Congress screwing me over after interest rates start to rise.
    I’ll second the nomination for Elizabeth Warren. There’s a woman who’ll stare down the Republicans and show them who’s boss!
    Lol Reid reminds me of my cat. “Ooh! I’m really pissed! I’m gonna swipe in your general direction and maybe you’ll notice and stop making me mad…” And then our other cat replys, “Oh, you didn’t like that? Here, I’m gonna tackle your head again.”

  3. People need to stay on the Rand Paul thing. We cannot let dear old dad pass the torch wiping away even more of their not so distant racist past. Linking the groups they have supported or who support them with some of the groups that Sarah Palin is associated with is a good start. Its all about the militias.

  4. Michelle Malkin might think she would love to live in a fascist state, but she would actually hate it, because she’s visibly asian, and therefore would probably be persecuted. That’s the thing with fascist sympathizers: they always think they would be part of the entitled class, and not the persecuted one, but eventually they learn better, and they learn the hard way. In a night of the long knives, Michelle Malkin and her ilk think they would be holding the hilt, but they would actually feel the tip.

  5. I usually love TYT’s graphics but please for god’s sake get rid of the cat fight one! Every time you guys play it my three cats literally have a meltdown and go into attack mode.

  6. I would like to nominate Bernie Sanders as the Senate Leader (Oh crap he is Independent – I can’t)… Due to this not being possible, I instead choose Elizabeth Warren has Senate Majority Leader. Not saying I agree with everything she says or does – But her ballz es mas grande
