Wes Clark jr said 12 months ago after the Egyption elections, lets see if the muslim brotherhood can pick up the garbage. Good call.
The National Anthem is changed at almost every sporting event I’ve been to….Why isn’t West protesting those as well?
If we go back in history we had Supreme Court Judges as President in the our begging until election of George Washington.
Cenk, you should mobilize the TYT army. Make one of those White House petitions demanding an explanation as to why they don’t consider James Clapper’s response to the committee as purger y, and an explanation to why an investigation is not taking place into his statements, during the show, call on the TYT army to sign and forward the petition. At the very least, it would force the White House to put out an official response, which would make them look foolish.
I am no fan of the Assad regime and would want to see it replaced with a democracy, but I think Cenk should take note of the sharp swing in public support in favor of Assad.

Also, I think Erdogan is pretty sure to have taken good notice of what just happened in Egypt. The situation is not entirely dissimilar after all. The military in Turkey has a long tradition of removing non-secular governments.
Utter nonsensical crap. There are 1.2 million (June figures) registered external refugees in Syria 1 million more than the same period last year all of them fleeing from the Assad “Heaven”. Not to mention another 4 million internal refugees and 6 million in besieged in rebel controlled areas and denied access to food and medicine by the government. That is literally one half of the people of Syria suffering on the hands of a government that already killed 70k civilians including 20k women and children and holds anywhere between 200k and 300k in prisons most are suspected to be dead already.
A scan of this crap of a newspaper is telling where it stands. They literally lied about what caused the Syrian revolution blaming an imaginary rebel leader for a none existing rebellion for the Daraa incidents when schoolboys wrote anti Bashar slogans, the facts are irrelevant for them:

Not to mention the other horrible lies about clerics issuing fatwas about raping women or the nature of the conflict in Syria.
Open your eyes and your mind. It is precisely this kind of apathetic inaction that made Somalia a hotbed for terrorism and what is making Mali the same thing.
Not all interventions are bad if they are managed correctly and there are many examples where that happened.
As for the Erdogan coup, one must chose, either be a democrat or a fascist. Erdogan won the elections fair and square. If you don’t like him work against him using the democratic process. Otherwise don’t kid yourself and call yourself a democrat and cry foul every time you lose. Erdogan has been more democrat and liberal than any other “secularist” PM before him.
