Cenk hosting today.  Edward Snowden may have left Russia and is potentially stranded on a Bolivian plane that was kept out of other countries’ airspace.  He rejected Putin’s terms to stop leaking U.S. secrets in order to stay in the country.  Many other countries have rejected his call for asylum.  Cenk thinks that if Bolivia is the bastion of freedom now, we’ve dropped the mantle.  Two law school professors have deemed the NSA spying program completely illegal.

 

Glenn Greenwald spoke to Fox & Friends’ Eric Bolling about the next story that will shock the world about NSA.  Jayar isn’t buying the sensational nature Greenwald is teasing the next big story rather than just giving it to us.  Right after his appearance, Fox News Peter Johnson bashed him for being an advocacy journalist.  Greenwald responded to criticism of his appearance on Fox News by pointing out that President Obama went on twice.  Washington Post editorial criticized Snowden and Greenwald as criminals for the story they’ve leaked.  The Post also got the information from Snowden, and released it once the Guardian did first after they dragged their feet.  Russia’s rocket test in Kazakhstan resulted in a failed launch and huge explosion.  Video of Brit Hume fighting back against the thought that the GOP needs to pass immigration reform in order to gain more Latino votes because the White vote is more important.

 

Updates from the Egyptian conflict and protests against the Muslim Brotherhood-led government.  Several military advisors and government officials have stepped down.  President Morsi spoke today and didn’t give in to any demands.  Lucky Charms cereal put out an ad celebrating gay pride month, and Conservatives flipped out.  Twitter Storm with Jenny Huang.
