A woman wrote an op-ed about how women can be just as sexist and detrimental to women as men sometimes are.  This was sparked by a beef between a female writer for the Daily Mail and singer Rihanna.  Joe Klein wrote a piece about how religious groups were working hard to help out the victims of the hurricane in Oklahoma, while Atheists aren’t doing much.  Video of Rush Limbaugh claiming that the country lost the issue of marriage when more words were added to the meaning.  Earlier in the year, when New Zealand legalized gay marriage, an approving politician mocked the doomsday theories from the opponents.  An Alabama State Rep spoke out about how she plans to fight the state system against gay marriage.  Since the DOMA ruling gave the power back to the states, it will be harder for those in certain states. Rick Perry called for a special session to offset Wendy Davis’ efforts to halt the Texas bill to eliminate abortion clinics in the state.  She responded to Perry’s accusations on MSNBC.  A pro-choice institution put out a study showing that men in favor of women’s rights should be more vocal.  Tammy Duckworth was conducting a hearing and spoke with a man who owns a small biz with special tax exempt status due to his injured veteran status.  Duckworth went after his twisted ankle assertion. Story of a man that was deported while unconscious from an accident.  He was a contributing member of the country for 30 years.  A woman was forced off of an airplane for refusing to turn off her phone.

  3. Guys there was no first hour. TYT was only one hour(the second) last night. The first half was a special live version of the Rubin Report filmed live from YouTube Space in LA. I don’t know where the hell they’re gonna post it on the site but part of it is on the Rubin Report YT channel.

  5. What the fuck? I’ve had to manually download at least one part of the show all week because the feed is repeatedly screwed up and now there isn’t even a manual download of a whole hour almost a day later?

    Nothing else in my life do I love enough to put up with this much fail.

  7. Come on damn it, I thought we all agreed we’d get a front page notice when a show or portion thereof would not be posted in a timely manner?

      1. are you both incapable of just waiting until it’s posted? you need them to hold your hand and wipe your ass?

        Pro tip. if it’s not updated when you visit the site, they are probably working on it.

        1. Pro tip it’s still not posted because it apparently never happened. How dumb do you feel know mister know it all?

          I pay so I can listen to this at work. It does me fuck all good if it doesn’t get posted in a timely fashion and by timely I mean a quite liberal 24 hours after the show airs. So one it’s not there people vent. Deal with it.

          I love TYT but don’t make excuses for the feed failures which have been happening for what 7 years or something now?

          Announce what the fuck is happening and people will adjust their expectations. It’s not hard and it’s what they keep promising they will do.

    I can’t stand second hour, I wish that Anna would go to the first hour so if Cenk needs to go over he’s not cutting into Anna’s Play time. it’s not that Anna’s not doing a good job, If I want to know about the entertainment I go to Chelsey’ lately.

    1. i’m from Europe, so I hate the first hour, only about 5% of the news in there interest me and I believe The Young Turks is an international news show. That’s why I love the second hour because they usually talk about stuff everyone can be interested in and not just US politics.

      1. im also from europe. Its clear you dont know or understand politics cause youre not aware it effects all peoplein the world in some way or another. Second hour is full of Ana dumbness and lack of talent .

          Kidding aside, she has grown and is better year for year. 2nd hour is a way to sneak in half a brain cell to people like maiu, so why not?

      2. maiu > I’m from Danmark and I know that our politicians are total copy-cats to US politicians. The rape of south Europe continues with IMF and therefore US backing. 1st hour is essential to all of us.

  10. So, they said during the June 26th episode that the first hour for the June 27th show would be shot live on location at (I believe they said) the local pride parade. I guess doing an on-location shoot (something TYT is not super-experienced doing) messed with their normal routine for uploading the show, which they are not very good at, even when there’s nothing particularly complicating going on.
