Tornado devastation in Oklahoma.  Video of Obama speaking about federal assistance.  Cenk thinks that we should force the two OK senators, Tom Coburn and James Inhofe, to apologize for their constant votes against federal assistance for other devastated areas in other states.  Video of Inhofe claiming that the “slush” fund for the people devastated by Sandy didn’t go to the disaster.  A senator tweeted that we should pray for Oklahoma, figuring that God will answer prayers if they are tweeted.  One of the creators of The Daily Show tweeted that the tornado clearly was targeting Conservatives in Oklahoma, causing an uproar.  John points out that hateful Conservative groups claim that God targets gay people and Liberals with natural disasters.

GOP Sen Dean Heller is using the IRS scandal to attack ObamaCare.  He’s looking to implement an amendment that would keep the IRS from funding a critical portion of the law since no one trusts them anymore.  Cenk explains how Karl Rove and his 501c3 is the big winner in this investigation.  The WH is threatening to veto a House approved bill to expedite the construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline.  Cenk talks about how this does nothing to stop the eventual building of the pipeline.  The NRA’s flagship publication came out with their list of the top 10 gun movies of all time.  This comes after Wayne LaPierre claimed that our bloody movie culture is the true cause of the shooting at Sandy Hook.

A right wing radio host named Pete Santilli spoke about his desire to shoot Hillary Clinton in the vagina, and see her die slowly.  Due to this outrageous rant-filled threat, he was contacted by the Secret Service.  Twitter Storm with Jenny Huang.

  5. Great to see Cenk back and on fire. I believe the Flying Spaghetti Monster brought the tornado to Conservative Oklahoma so they can empathize with other states that also have natural disasters. Agree with the statement below “Obama has zero fight in him. He is a FAIL:.

  7. When I’m listening to Pandora, they have an ad about Obama’s jobs bill and the jist of it is that Obama can’t get anything done because the Republicans oppose it. They ask you to sign their petition in order to create jobs for everyone. I’ve never signed it, because his last jobs bill was bullshit, not even a jobs bill. Everything they do is mind fucking.

  10. Exactly how many jobs bills is Obama supposed to propose that will then be shot down by the Republican House? Obama did just that with the American Jobs Act in September, 2011. He introduced it in a special joint session of Congress that was broadcast on many TV stations across the nation. He then went on a national tour to promote it. The result? The Congress never even brought it up for a vote. Why would things be any different if Obama offered ANOTHER jobs bill and then another jobs bill, ad infinitum? If they didn’t vote for the first one, they’re certainly not going to vote for any subsequent ones.

    Moreover, the health care bill is a terrible example for Cenk to use since that was passed at a time when the Democrats had a majority in the House, as opposed to the Tea Party crazies who now run the chamber.

    1. So, Obama should give up and do whatever the Republicans want instead? Because that’s what he’s doing, only to protect his legacy in the history books. If he actually fought then the country would be hurt but he can explain why and then the GOP would be wiped out in the elections.
