Elizabeth Warren’s first legislative proposal deals with fixing the interest rate on school loans. A Bloomberg estimate showed that $102 billion in subsidies have been given to large banks since 2009. Hackers developed a complicated bank theft scheme, which turned out to be the biggest bank heist of all time. Due to the high number of accomplices necessary to pull this off, things fell apart after they got all the money, some were even killed.
Jason Richwine of the Heritage Foundation has been fired. Dick Cheney has chimed in on the Benghazi outrage, saying that Hillary Clinton needs to be subpoenaed. When people were clamoring for Cheney’s testimony over the Bush Administration’s illegal wars, he called it a witch hunt. Michael points out that the GOP’s only chance at stopping her from winning the 2016 ticket is to take her down over this. Karl Rove’s super PAC has an ad out attacking Hillary already. Cenk sees some aspects of truth in their scathing ad.

The Benghazi attack was blowback for our covert gun-running to the Syrian rebels and the Libyans before them. Why don’t you guys question why the consulate was attacked in the first place, what made it worth the risk? These are questions I’ve rather have answered that could lead to some serious insights into how the State department functions in the shadows rather than this charade playing out in Congress. Obviously Clinton and Obama covered it up, but is it an impeachable offense, I don’t think so. But illegal gun-running by proxy is and I’m personally convinced the Benghazi attack has a lot to do with the regional turmoil then some “terrorists out for walk to kill Americans.” In Libya? Seriously? We have yet to scratch the surface of this, hopefully it doesn’t get brushed under the rug like the Bush/Cheney torture programs.
John brings up the Contras near the end and it reminded me of a video of some of the Jihadists/Wahabists executing civilians in Syria. Would John want to let it die if somehow it was revealed that the US has been funneling all those confiscated Libyan weapons to Turkey and then to Syrian rebels? I just think this is much bigger than “WAS IT A TERRORIST ATTACK?!?!?!” “DID OBAMA/CLINTON LIE?!?!”
