President Obama spoke strongly in favor of real gun control legislation, bringing Sandy Hook back into people’s minds. Videos of his speech this morning.  Video of a Mayors Against Illegal Guns ad that features the families of Sandy Hook. The lack of effectiveness in getting meaningful gun control legislation passed.  The mayor of Newtown thinks that we’re waiting too long to strike on this case.  Establishment politicians disagree and think that they’re moving quickly.  Lisa Murkowski is the latest politician that has evolved on the issue of gay marriage.

Things that were found in the Sandy Hook shooters home included thousands of rounds of ammo, an unlocked gun case, samurai swords, pictures of a bloody dead person, a book entitled, “Train Your Brain to Get Happy,” and a news account of a mass shooting at a university.  Chuck Grassley has announced he will introduce gun legislation that will not interfere with gun owners’ rights, but has nothing so far, or a date when he’ll get it done.  Audio of radio host Mark Levin going after Megyn Kelly and Bill O’Reilly for their conversation on gay marriage and how the liberal perspective has a better argument.  The Catholic League wrote a letter to Time Warner, the parent company of HBO, to have a convo with Bill Maher about his Catholic bashing on the Pope.

Failed politician Dale Peterson was caught stealing beer from WalMart a few months ago and Cenk defended him. He’s just been arrested again for shoplifting as he ate a full can of cashews at Sams Club and put the empty can back on the shelves.  A Michigan Republican State Rep posted a severely anti-gay article on his Facebook page, calling them filthy.

  2. TYT (or at least Cenk) has never paid attention to the EU, Cenk, the internet is global, you have a global audience, how about something other than constant US congressional side show. One segment on Europe every now and then would be nice, especially if it’s something big like Cyprus being bombed and financially bludgeoned to death.

  3. bombs going off in Cyprus, and Cenk still wants to devote the whole show to telling me I’m evil for not agreeing with his ineffective ideas on stopping gun violence.

  5. Can I ask a huge favor? Please stop editing the show for members (never thought I’d have to ask that…) I always would watch TYT live, but when I’m on tour, it just isn’t in the realm of possibility. The edit at 1:30 drives me crazy. Thank you!

  7. TYT needs to cover what’s going on in Cyprus more. The EU is fucking collapsing. Compared to that, all these gun control and politicians’-follies stories really don’t matter that much.
