I know WTF is judging quality, but when they suggest that it should be shortened or made into a TV series when it is making the money it is making is ridiculous. Stick t judging quality, I’m pretty sure the numbers can attest for decision to lengthened it.
I would edit my old post, but can’t. Maybe that is for the best in holding people accountable :)
I see that the 48FPS issue is explained AFTER what appears to be the final rating for ‘Hobbit’. Really didn’t think I was jumping the gun on that comment, my mistake.
Maybe I have long missed this boat and sound like an old geezer:
Please explain why you think the movie is actually worse and not better when you see it at 48fps. I get that it was agreed that 24fps was better, but I have no idea why.
It adds tremendous depth to your review when you not only state your positions but explain HOW you ended up there.
Really disagree with the review of the Hobbit here. Sure, it’s a long movie and there’s a lot of added parts but I thought the movie was really enjoyable to watch. It’s meant to be a lighter type of movie than the LOTR series and I think it had a good mixture of action and story. The 48 frames per second is kind of annoying but it did make you feel more “in” the movie. Overall, it deserves a lot more than a “5” that WTF gave it :/

FYI — The “Download Audio” button downloads the .m4v video file instead. The “Download Video” link is ok.
Ben sounds like an idiot talking about the Hobbit.
I seen that movie 2 days ago, it didn’t feel long or dragged out at all, except the scene in the cave, with that exception its pacing was fantastic.
Listening to critics bastardize good movies makes them sound remarkably stupid.

yes I liked the Hobbit as well, doesn’t deserve a 5 but I can understand why the WTF crew might have been turned off to it by Jonhny Fontane Iadorala
