Ana joins Cenk for SCS. The man that accused the voice of Elmo of underaged rape has recanted his story. Jayar wants the reason for the victim recanting to be the right reasons. Video of a local Denver station running a story of Gen Petraeus’ mistress and her book, with a visual of it reading, “All Up in my Snatch.” The station immediately apologized. Video of Pat Robertson giving Gen Petraeus a pass on his affair because Paula Broadwell is hot. Ana points out that Robertson doesn’t afford the same apologies to women. Story of a woman in Arizona that ran her husband over in her Jeep because he didn’t vote and help get Romney into office. 400,000 people have signed a petition to get Macy’s to dump Donald Trump from their holiday ad blitz.

Segment 2
Cenk announces his appearance this weekend at an event to get money out of politics. A company made a Justin Beiber sex toy for gay men. Video of a Today Show interview with a woman that claimed her toaster is possessed by the devil. California’s initiative that modified our 3 strike rule now requires the 3rd strike to be a serious crime to get the life sentence. Arabica beans that create coffee may be obsolete in a few decades due to climate change effecting the crops.

  6. Probably a dumb question, but: couldn’t the (previous) three-strikes law be considered unconstitutional? Throwing someone in jail for three minor offenses like instigating a fight or petty shoplifting…it sounds like that violates the ”cruel and unusual” part because it’s so terribly harsh.

  7. Just a question, (Just curious don’t yell at me) would it be possible, just *maybe* do hour 1 first? To me, that is the most important episode of the day.
    If not, that’s OK, just curious
