Cenk hosting today. The theme for todays show is “What Now?” Videos of Conservatives being very sure that Romney would win. The press wants to be sure not to call this devastating win a mandate even though they called Bush’s close win a mandate. Videos of Dick Morris’ horrific predictions of a Mitt Romney landslide. He explained that he was wrong this morning b/c he didn’t expect Blacks, Latinos, young people, and women to vote. Krauthammer declared that Obama has no kind of mandate, despite his big victory. Before the election, Scarborough said that anyone that doesn’t think the race is a toss up is an ideologue. Videos of Romney’s and President Obama’s concession and Victory speeches.

Video of Sarah Palin talking about how perplexing it was to see the American people vote against them. Karl Rove got upset at the Fox News prognosticators for calling the race “prematurely.” Videos of Rove talking to Stuart Varney about why Romney lost the race. Latino voters went with Obama in very large numbers and shifted the swing states in his favor. Video of Bill O’Reilly comparing the current voting block of Blacks, Latinos, & women to those of the past, “traditional America” that would’ve voted Romney over Obama easily.

  4. Thanks to the TYT staff for a very entertaining coverage of the elections (quirks and problems with sound notwhistanding) What a refreshing way of following the results without the bland commentary on some other broadcasts!!!!!!!!!!!!
    I loved the white board!!! I felt completely represented, since I was sitting at home with my calculator and the map, looking at counties in particular States and keeping score.

  6. I love how Karl Rove made Megan Kelly to go and get the information he wants. He was like, “Woman, get back into the kitchen and cook me something better than the crap you made me!” I don’t know if it’s just me, that’s the sense I got when watching him melt down.

    Also, if Stewart Varney left Europe for being Europe, then hopefully we’ll be more like Europe like he fears so he can leave this country too!

    1. Meant to add that I can’t stand Stuart Varney for the fact that he came here to America, became a citizen and then when there is some thing he dissagrees with, ne never says we Americans, he just points the finger and says, “You Americans”.

      Woah there Stuart! You can’t claim to be and American Conservative and be a patriot to America if you don’t accept the fact that you’re an American Citizen too, and therefore, part of the problem yourself!

It just gets to me though-that moronic conceited imbecile- joe scarborough, that despicable human being gets such a long gig at msnbc & the powers that be kept giving cenk so much trouble ???? – If you are a political pundit that means your knowledge on the subject is astoundingly greater than everyone else’s. Yeah YOU exude knowledge joe-and BTW “they should be kept away from typewriters” ??? which millennium do you think you live in moron. That whole show is miserable. Mika, lets be honest, we all know why she’s there…. Like joe would really want a strong liberal woman, who actually had in-depth knowledge on politics, to sit besides him and make him look like the dunce he is, through out the show. It really gets to me that the brainless ignorant scarborough gets success so easily and truly knowledgeable, skillful people have to struggle so much in today’s environment

    American progressives, liberals, and independents need to learn about each other–even classify each other in terms of differences (there are differences, after all)–and find a common set of goals.

    Once established, it’s time to meme them out, write them out to representatives, get them into newspapers, and online: the people must PUSH the president towards greatness. He will respond to the people–that’s the f’n job.

    If the people don’t push, he’s got nowhere to go and nothing to do but to enjoin himself with the Washington status quo. The president is only the hand of the people, it’s the citizenry that is America’s head and heart. It’s always been that way, it always will be.

    Obama is nothing on his own. No president is. The power rests in the hand of the people, and it’s time they figured this out, found their common ground, and started getting their Commander in Chief doing what he’s supposed to, which is the will of the people.

    Good luck America, for the world is depending on you.

  14. That the progressives won is a huge stretch, Cenk. We got 4 more years of drone strikes, bank sector economic destruction and disasterous policies on the environment. I will give you the gloat against the propaganda machine of Fox & friends, bewcause US public of 2012 has proven not to be the German public of 1938 and that is great. Same with the progressive wins around the country. But the real fight starts now. We can’t rest for a minute and have to pressure Obama today and prepare for a solid progressive primary in 2016.

      He’s talking about the progressive strides made across the country as a whole, not specifically the President. As you well know, Cenk is not Obama’s biggest fan.

      1. I get that, but we can’t go back to sleep here just because they gave us a cookie. Obama landed those elbows on the GOP yesterday, but he will be landing them on us today and for the next 4 years, if we don’t get in the ring immediately.

        What happens when the banking sector collapses again? What happens when they turn the fascist propaganda back on this 2012 victory and call us progressives the guilty party? War with Iran will be the least of this world’s problems. We must push back harder than ever, because a bit over 50% of people not internalising corporatist propaganda is not going to be enough once the economy hits the fan.
