Segment 2
A Democratic House candidate is being attacked by the Tea Party b/c he’s 30, married, and doesn’t have any kids. The Republican candidate doesn’t have kids either! A study on lesbian parents shows that their offspring tend to have a happy existence. A 2 year old kid was mauled to death at a Pittsburgh zoo.

Segment 3
Member Thanks. A photo of a receipt is making its way around the internet. It is a single mother’s restaurant bill that cost $140 and she neglected to leave a tip, writing simply, “sorry, single mom, can’t tip.” An Obama spox stated that if people follow their states’ law to legalize marijuana, the Feds will go after them anyway.

  1. I may not have a TERMINAL illness, but since childhood, for almost 20 years, I’ve been developing multiple severe chronic illnesses and health problems, more than all the others in my extended family combined. I have been treated like a pariah, a druggie, a waste of space, all because I DIDN’T get to have cancer, instead I get a dozen different illnesses, all of which curse me with a literal seven hells of symptoms, every second of the day, such horrible indescribably nausea, pain, weakness, nerve damage, loss of motor functions… But because I didn’t get that one word in my medical records, because all I have are a melting pot of mostly unknown problems, which doctors didn’t want to risk messing with, and I end up being forced to stick around. I actually DID/DO have a DNR form, but the first time I had a stress-induced heart failure, the local ER ignored my forms. It was the longest, most difficult and emotionally devastating recovery I ever had. After that, when I had my SECOND heart failure 2 years later, my rights were once AGAIN stolen from me, and I was once again forced to endure and move on with my horrible life, just so others could feel better about themselves. If I had the physical and financial ability, I could have sued about 3 other times apart from my DNR forms being ignored, and for very legit reasons too. (First surgery ever I had a big metal clip left inside my back, which the hospital tried to cover up by “losing” my post-op images, then my surgeon conveniently ‘retired’… Also a crazy nutjob at another hospital where I had my 8th back surgery, removed my fusion, put in a tiny experimental one, then lied to me the whole time my stability and pain got worse, until one day he disappeared with no warning, and I found out he was being sued by MOST of his patients!)
Anyway, my point is, I have had a hellish life for 20 years, and I would just LOVE to have this kind of freedom over my OWN LIFE!

  2. In Texas, waiters make $2.13 an hour, THEN the restaurant takes 5% of your total sales for “tip out” to pay for bus boys, ect. Mandatory tip out varies between restaurants…percentages that is. Some even take ANOTHER 2% for credit card fees. Many of these techniques are illegal, but the penalties are so low, and they make so much money on ripping off waiters, they’d rather pay small penalties than do right. So, assuming 15% tips…we easily pay 30% of our money back to the restaurant. I haven’t received an actual hourly check in years, as it all goes to taxes, then owe another 800 bucks to the government at the end of the year. That’s with 35 hours a week, at 2.13 an hour.

  3. I’m very excited about Colorado in particular: legalizing pot there will have huge ramifications throughout the control in the next several years. It could even push Obama to rethink (or maybe just finally think) about cannabis: at the very least making it available medically by rescheduling the drug.

  4. I am getting really tired of this mess. It is the day before the election and your link does not work. If you have so much trouble trying to upload the video, just make it free for the day.

    1. I used to have the same problem. What you have to do is close your internet browser, delete all of your internet history and then login from the main page BEFORE you go into the membership section. That should fix it.

        1. It’s a computer cache error. Your computer keeps a record of the websites that you visit so it can pull it up faster when you revisit. If your computer doesn’t update the cache and keeps the Sign Up page, that’s the page that’s going to keep loading no matter if you refresh. That’s why you gotta delete your cache and login before going to the member section.
